PTE Academic coaching at Global Study Advisor
Coaching for PTE always begins with a mock test. The test result allows an individual to know where he stands and consequently provides him an idea of how much effort is required to achieve a desirable score.
From second session, our faculties start with a specific module. For Speaking, the questions types are practiced from official material. We conduct one-on-one interview session, exactly simulating testing conditions. We conduct 4 mock sessions on speaking items. Scores are given and strategies are provided to enhance the scores. For Writing part, initially the two types of tasks are discussed and guidelines are provided with regard to composition of essays and summary sentence. Then students are asked to write actual essays and summary sentences. Students’ essays and summary sentences are graded and strategies are provided to make the compositions better. In this way, our teachers complete 4 essays and summary sentences. For Reading sessions, our teachers provide strategies with regard to how to do different question types of reading. Then the question items are taken individually from tests and discussed with the students. In this way, 4 tests of reading are practiced in class. For Listening sessions, firstly, different types of items are explained and strategies are provided on how to approach these items. Audios are played and students’ answers are recorded. Towards the end of the Listening test, students’ answers are replayed and these responses are graded. In this way, we complete 4 listening tests with our students.
After completing classroom sessions, we conduct 3 full-length mock tests exactly on the lines of actual PTE Academic test, so that our students get the feel of testing environment.
